Angel Prince - 1990?-03/23/04.
Angel made it impossible not to smile if she was near you. She had the
attitude, intelligence and loyalty we all hope for in our canine families.
Getting an Angel kiss could make any bad day seem good. I brought her home a little over a year ago after seeing her stray at the shelter where she was withering away and depressed. That didn't last long once she was home with us. She kept us safe from all those dangerous squirrels in the yard and reminded me when it was time for all of us to go to bed. Angel's mind and heart were strong and vibrant and she tended to try to boss the other dogs.
Unfortunately, her 13 or 14 year old bones just couldn't keep up despite our efforts to ease her pain. We let her go on to the bridge with her dignity intact and knowing she was completely adored.

Kathleen and Scott Prince
A THANK YOU FROM MISS ELLIE

I will never know what I did to deserve such an awful life full of abuse and neglect. My life had become so sad and lonely it was like living in an endless, dark tunnel. I remember looking up one day and seeing a bright light shinning at the end of the tunnel. The light was so bright I thought that God must have sent an angel to finally end my suffering. You gave me the softest bed my tired, aching bones had ever felt, and more attention than I had ever dreamed existed. I no longer cringed when a hand was raised near me, because your hands had only kindness and treats to offer me. There is no way to really measure just how deeply your love and devotion affected my life. But sometimes, even love and devotion and all the medical attention in the world can't heal a body that has been broken for too long. So don't be sad that I am gone. you performed a miracle in what little time we had together. You made my sprits soar and helped my soul find peace and contentment. Just knowing that my memory would live in your heart forever gave me that strength to let go and find my way to Rainbow Bridge. So go forward from today with only happy memories of me in your heart and let them give you the strength to keep on lighting up sad, lost lives. Remember I will live forever in your heart and in the stars up above and my star will shine brighter with every life that's touched by your love.
Thank you,
Lynn, Kim, Bev, Jim
and the staff at Newberry Animal Hospital

May FDR in some way stop the suffering that such dogs suffer.
Our love will forever live in the memory of Miss Ellie

Jack Haislip (cropped) Aug 15 1993.....passed Oct 2.
Cola Haislip October 1, 1994 - June 14, 2005

Many a stray and rescue did he tolerate! Many a miles he travelled with me. He was my "handsome boy"! Jack was there before them all! We miss him soo much..... Chrissy, Ed, and Mark, Kobe and Cola too!

Sadly, Cola joined her brother Jack at the Rainbow Bridge on June 14, 2005. Now she is pain free and can romp and run with Jack and chase squirrels to her hearts delight. She is greatly missed by Chrissy, Ed, Mark, Kobe, BB and TJ

Heidi Smith
Born Feb. 1, 1995
Departed Nov. 8, 2005

Affectionately called Heidrich, Heidi Ho, Big Block, and Cheeseburger.
Heidi loved children and attention. She is now in Heaven running
around with her sisters Sheila and Liberty, and her human grandpa Ray.
Heidi, I wish you were still here stealing my socks and slippers. You are now
my angel in Heaven - your eye is healed and you can run very fast.

We will miss you very much.

Love,
Robin, Kip, and Abram

In memory of our Beloved Majik. We affectionately called her our “Magical Girl” because there was something truly magical about her. She was a true and loyal friend and companion to us and to Heidi our Rottweiler for the past 8 years. She will be in our hearts forever. We miss her terribly.

Earl & Joanne Johnson

Majik was one of the first Dobermans placed by FDR. She holds a special place in all our hearts.

Brianna and her rescued brother, Shad.

"Brianna" DeMarco
August, 1998 - December 2, 2007 (9 years)

Our Special Girl! Brianna was so sweet, loving and loyal to her family.
Brianna truly loved everyone. We shared 8-1/2 years together, along with
Shad (our male Dobe 10 yrs) and all our cats (9). Brianna will be missed
terribly by us all. She was such an angel and a real sweetie. See you at
the Bridge.

Love Mom, Dad and Your Family.

Shadrack DeMarco – 3/1/98 – 2/27/12
Our special “Shad Boy”!!! We will miss him terribly. He was with our family for a long time. He was strong and determined to do things his way and be first at everything. He never let down his guard. Everyone (especially the cats) knew who ruled the house. Shad was a very tall dobe with the large beautiful ears. He smiled all the time. What a handsome boy! Shad was very smart. We lost Brianna his sister a little over four years ago and he became lonely. With the help of Doberman rescue we adopted Rosie (4 years now) and she helped a great deal with keeping Shad company. Rosie is such a sweet heart and was a real angel for Shad. We love her dearly. Shad will be missed more than words can express. See you at the Bridge.
Love Mom, Dad and Your Family

Xena came to our Rescue when we needed her most and was a Beacon of light for our Family for many good years. We were so lucky to have found each other through FDR. She will stay with us forever in our hearts.

We love you Xena, go be free and chase all the squirels you can!!

PS...Don't try to boss everyone around in Doggie Heaven!

The Ciacciarelli Family

Mandy Burton

11/26/2001 - 9/10/2009

You came to us through Doberman Rescue when you had just turned two; you had a rough beginning. I learned your name meant “Worthy of Love” and you truly were. I rescued you, but you rescued me. Love is curious like that. Your firey spirit and determination to live was contagious to everyone who knew you. Through us you knew the love of a family, a forever home. You went along on our adventures, had your pool to sun beside, and a big yard to run free, to chase squirrels, cats, and the occasional armadillo.

We gave you all that, but you gave me so much more. After happy years we lost the battle of kidney disease when they shut down. I did just like I promised, I stayed with you until the end, you were in my arms.

I love you forever, my Mandy girl.

Jack- (Aka: Jackie, Jackaroonie, Jax)
We love you so much and feel so honored to have known you and have
had you in our lives for the 10 1/2 years. You were always such a
sweet boy and always full of so much love and fun, you always managed
to make us laugh and smile.
We know you are no longer in pain and now with your sister Dakota in
heaven and that gives us comfort to know you two are together as you
two loved each other so much.
We love you so much.
Love,
Mom and Dad
